Lake Plain Habitat Restoration Project (Sustain Our Great Lakes) – This grant program will provide local partners with funds to enhance wildlife habitat by improving hydrology and restoring 690 acres of coastal lake plain at Spring Bluff, Chiwaukee Prairie, and Illinois Beach State Park.
New Invaders Watch Program (Wildlife Preservation Grant) – The Wildlife Preservation Fund has awarded The New Invaders Watch Program (NIWP) a grant to move the NIWP website and database from the Illinois Natural History Survey to the Chicago Botanic Garden. The website and database will be re-designed and re-configured to allow the Coordinator for the NIIPP to manage updates of website content and the database. (Click here to see the proposal.)
