Invasive Plant Workshop

The Northeast Illinois Invasive Plant Partnership (
recently received a grant from the Illinois Coastal Management Program to
provide education and outreach about invasive plants to towns, villages,
park districts, forest preserve districts, and other organizations located
in or near the Lake Michigan Watershed.

During each workshop Cathy McGlynn, Coordinator of NIIPP, will provide
information about the natural history and identifying characteristics of
new and common invasive plants in the Chicago region.  In addition,
attendees will learn about online resources for reporting and controlling
these species.

There is no charge for this workshop.
